Accounting Clerk

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Technician – Financial Controller Assistant to support our finance department and ensure diligent accounting management within Des Sources Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Main Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting entries and maintain accounts.
• Account for sales contracts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and payment follow-up.
• Participate in the monthly closing cycle and prepare financial reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounting balances.
• Control documents and journals, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Support the financial controller in analyzing discrepancies and preparing ad hoc analyses.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and accounting efficiency.

Profile sought

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or financial role (requirement).
• Proficiency with office tools and accounting software; good knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to meet deadlines.
