Mechanic / Technician

Job Description

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles within the NAPA AUTOPRO - Cloutier Avantage Inc. network, adhering to quality standards and manufacturer procedures.
• Perform repairs and replacements on engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electronic systems, and accessories.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and systems, interpret error codes, and propose effective solutions.
• Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections, perform road tests, and ensure customer safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other technicians and customer service staff to plan work and communicate deadlines and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workshop and strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and internal procedures.

Profile sought

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role as an auto mechanic/technician.
• Professional diploma (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, braking, suspension, and electrical systems; diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and technical manuals; knowledge of diagnostic tools.
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, rigor, autonomy, and organization.
• Good level of French; English is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license (if applicable according to job requirements).
