Journeyman Mechanic

Specifically, what will your days look like as a Journeyman Mechanic?

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will participate in various maintenance and repair activities on our different vehicles. You will be responsible for:

• Good skills in advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
• Replacement/repair of engines and transmissions.
• Replacement of suspension and steering parts.
• Performing tire installations, including rotation and balancing.
• Performing maintenance and repairs on automobiles and vans.
• Brake systems (mechanical and ABS).
• Assisting apprentice technicians as needed.
• Ability to analyze electrical circuits.
• Knowledge of electric vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with Mitchell ProDemand is a plus.
• A keen sense of resourcefulness.
• Knowledge of ADAS systems (camera, blind spot sensors, radar).
• Knowledge of air conditioning (diagnosis and repair).
• Knowledge of OBD2 communication line diagnostics (Can bus).
