About the position Due to the continuous growth of its after-sales operations, Thibault GM Montmagny is seeking an automotive mechanical technician to join its service department team. The selected individual will work in a structured, modern environment focused on quality, where technical rigor, collaboration, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Primary Responsibilities Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of motor vehicles according to GM standards Identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Carry out recommended preventive and corrective maintenance Conduct road tests before and after interventions, when required Accurately document work performed in the computer system Work closely with technical advisors to ensure efficient and smooth service Maintain a clean, safe, and standards-compliant work environment Participate in ongoing technical training offered by the manufacturer

Profile Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics Relevant experience in a similar role (an asset) Good knowledge of modern automotive systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism Valid driver's license
