Bodyshop Technician

CARSTAR Vaudreuil, located in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, is seeking an experienced PDR technician to join its team.

Job Description

• Position type: Full-time
• Perform paintless dent repair and dent straightening on vehicles, prioritizing paintless dent repair methods when possible and in compliance with CARSTAR standards.
• Assess damage and determine repair methods and timelines in collaboration with the body shop team.
• Prepare the vehicle and the work area, use and maintain specialized tools, and ensure workshop cleanliness.
• Follow work orders and internal procedures, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and aftersales service stakeholders to optimize repairs and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dent repair or a related role.
• Knowledge of paintless dent repair techniques (PDR) and related tools.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow workshop procedures.
• Good manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail; good physical condition.
• Team spirit and ability to work independently when necessary.
