Automobiles Etcetera, located in Mont-Royal, Quebec, invites you to join our team in a 65,000 square foot facility dedicated to excellence. As a private club and dealership specializing in high-end and exotic vehicles, we offer a unique experience to our clients and a work environment focused on elegance, innovation, and impeccable service.

We are seeking a Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice), passionate about automobiles and motivated to develop their skills, to assist our technical team in the maintenance, repair, and re-commissioning of prestigious vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on luxury and exotic vehicles, adhering to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
  • Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and interpret technical codes and test results.
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs, replace parts, and ensure the quality of work delivered.
  • Participate in final inspections, test systems, and confirm proper functioning after intervention.
  • Document interventions in the service management system and prepare clear, detailed reports.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced technicians and apprentices in a team spirit and skill transfer.
  • Follow safety rules, workshop procedures, and environmental requirements.
  • Contribute to workshop organization and the management of parts and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma in automotive mechanics or ongoing studies; 1 year of experience in an automotive context required. Recent graduates are welcome, especially with relevant internships or hands-on experience.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to work precisely and in compliance with safety procedures.
  • Good team spirit, customer service orientation, and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems; familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance software is an asset.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation in French; technical English is a plus.
