Mechanic / Technician

Gabriel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM dealership in Montreal, is seeking a passionate and performance-oriented mechanic/technician to join its dynamic workshop.

Your role

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of new and used vehicles from the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Use modern diagnostic tools and interpret electrical schematics as well as technical data.
• Collaborate with other technicians and the customer service team to explain work completed, estimated costs, and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and internal dealership procedures.
• Manage inventory of parts, estimate needs, and recommend repairs to be carried out.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to team spirit.

Candidate profile

• DEP or DEC in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience; at least five years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Experience with Jeep, Dodge is an asset. Technician trained by Stellantis.
• EV and Hybrid certification an asset,
• Good knowledge of modern systems and skills in electronic diagnostics (OBD-II and associated software).
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in French; technical English is an asset.
• Valid driver's license; availability for flexible hours.
