Our client, a well-established dealership in Granby, is seeking a senior financial controller who wants to play a key role in the overall performance and strategic management of the organization. You will act as a true business partner with management and actively contribute to operational and financial decisions.

Your Main Responsibilities
• Supervise and lead all accounting activities, including cash receipts, accounts payable, accrued expenses, and asset management
• Ensure monthly closing of the general ledger and perform analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Develop annual budgets, analyze the profitability of various departments, and rigorously monitor financial performance
• Act as a strategic partner by providing financial analysis to guide business decisions
• Actively contribute to the planning and overall management of operations
• Identify opportunities for optimization and implement initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of organizational performance
• Negotiate and manage strategic agreements (financial institutions, group insurance plans, corporate agreements, etc.)
• Manage and monitor regulatory files (CNESST, tax authorities, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with current laws and regulations
• Participate in the preparation of the year-end tax files
• Supervise, motivate, and support the current team
• Play a key role in inter-departmental coordination and ensure the smooth running of daily operations
Ideal Profile
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in the automotive industry (a significant advantage)
• Mobilizing leadership and excellent influencing skills
• Broad vision and strong understanding of the operational challenges of an SME
• Proactive approach, results-oriented, and decisive
• Ability to work in an environment with multiple and constantly changing priorities
• Autonomy, good judgment, and a high sense of responsibility
• Excellent proficiency with computer tools
