Mechanic / Technician

Malo and Sons Garage, a family-owned business located in Contrecoeur, Quebec, for over 55 years, is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to replace an employee retiring.

Job Description

• Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on light motor vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic faults and anomalies.
• Work on suspension, steering, and alignment systems.
• Identify worn parts, perform adjustments, and conduct tests after repairs.
• Possibility to work on the air conditioning system (asset).

Responsibilities and Culture

• Work as a team and collaborate with other technicians and the workshop team.
• Follow safety standards, quality procedures, and deadlines.

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Skills in general mechanics, suspension, steering, alignment, and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of automotive air conditioning considered an asset.
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and good communication.
• Valid driver's license.
