Accounts assistant

Under the supervision of the controller, an accounting clerk handles daily deposits, receivables and payables, as well as supporting the sales team in certain administrative functions. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of dealership operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Recording and balancing sales files while ensuring their compliance;
• Validating commission calculations for representatives and sales managers;
• Requisitioning daily checks from departments;
• Tracking sales receivables;
• Balancing certain accounts payable;
• Preparing account analyses for the controller;
• Assisting with external auditor requests;
• Providing support to the controller in various other accounting tasks. Requirements:
• Experience in an accounting clerk position (a significant asset);
• Experience with CDK software (an asset) as well as the MS Office suite (Excel and Word);
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to interact with internal clients, key suppliers, and employees;
• Great attention to detail;
• Strong organizational and time management skills, handling multiple priorities, executing a variety of tasks, and meeting deadlines;
• Proficiency in English (a plus). Conditions:
