Mechanic / Technician

Volkswagen Complex 440, located in Laval, Quebec, is seeking a passionate and meticulous Mechanic / Technician to join our team. You will work in an environment focused on technical excellence and customer satisfaction, with the opportunity to work on a wide range of Volkswagen vehicles and used cars.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Volkswagen vehicles by applying manufacturer procedures and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, as well as electronic diagnostics.
• Use VW diagnostic tools and programs to identify faults and validate repairs.
• Collaborate with the service team to meet deadlines, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain high safety standards.
• Write clear intervention reports and document parts used and repairs performed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• DEP diploma in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, and electronic systems; ability to interpret and utilize diagnostic codes.
• Proficiency with manual tools and computer systems, as well as familiarity with diagnostic systems and related software.
• Team spirit, excellent customer relations, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license; availability for hours adjusted to service needs.
• Continuing education or relevant certifications will be considered an asset.
