Painter

Job Description Bentleys Automobile, a body shop based in Laval, Quebec, is seeking an experienced auto painter to join their team. You will contribute to vehicle finishing with precision, using water-based painting techniques. A relaxed work environment, quality projects, and opportunities for advancement await you. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (degreasing, sanding, masking) and ensure excellent adhesion of coats.
• Mix and adjust shades, apply paint coats, and perform finishes with appropriate water-based spray tools.
• Control the quality of finishes (color matching, uniformity, absence of defects) and perform touch-ups if necessary.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental standards, and technical sheets.
• Maintain and clean equipment and the workshop; collaborate with the bodywork team to optimize deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auto painting.
• Expertise in water-based painting and mastery of tinting systems and color mixing.
• Good spraying and finishing skills, knowledge of drying processes and surface preparation.
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and teamwork; ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
