Mechanic / Technician

Job Description Chambly Honda, the leading Honda dealership on the South Shore, located in Chambly near Longueuil, is seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its workshop. You will contribute to providing reliable repairs, fast service, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on Honda vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine interventions (brakes, suspension, transmission, air conditioning, exhaust, etc.).
• Carry out diagnostics using diagnostic tools and software and interpret the results to propose the best solutions.
• Respect safety procedures, environmental standards, and workshop guidelines.
• Document interventions in the internal system, ensure traceability of used parts, and communicate relevant information to the team and to the client.
• Work in collaboration with after-sales service to ensure effective repair and optimal customer satisfaction.
• Keep technical knowledge up to date through internal and external training.

Qualifications required

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and technologies; experience with Honda vehicles is an asset.
• Strong diagnostic, maintenance, and repair skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work autonomously and in an organized manner.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent French; operational English is an asset.
