Mechanic / Technician

We are hiring an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join Mazda Joliette Inc., a dealership of Groupe St-Jean located in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, Quebec. Job Description

• Diagnose and repair Mazda vehicles and other brands according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.
• Diagnose breakdowns using modern diagnostic tools, interpret data, and propose solutions.
• Replace parts and components, conduct road tests, and ensure vehicle safety.
• Keep accurate reports of interventions and monitor parts and inventory.
• Collaborate with the after-sales team to optimize turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety standards, internal policies, and quality assurance requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automobile mechanics.
• Relevant diploma in automotive mechanics, technical field, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of modern vehicles; ability to read and interpret diagrams and diagnostics.
• Good customer service skills, attention to detail, and team spirit.
• Valid driver's license; availability and flexibility to work as needed operationally.
• Autonomy, rigor, and problem-solving ability.
