Montera Exploration, a constantly growing adventure supplier specializing in campers and expedition equipment for trucks (Four Wheel Campers, Go Fast Campers, Alu-Cab, and more), is based in Cowansville, Quebec. We are seeking a Camper and Overland Accessories Installation Technician to join our dynamic workshop.

Your responsibilities
You will work on adventure vehicles — various projects, never routine:
- Installation of mounted campers (slide-in) and awning-style campers
- Installation of accessories: roof racks, awnings, drawers, storage systems
- 12V refrigerators, solar panels, auxiliary batteries
- Lighting, 12V/USB outlets, basic electrical systems
- Suspensions, wheels/tires, off-road equipment
- Custom adjustments and modifications
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting of installation issues
- Preparing vehicles for delivery to the client
Maintenance of equipment and the workspace:
- Basic maintenance of tools and workshop equipment
- Checking the condition of power tools, batteries, chargers, etc.
- Ensuring that clients' vehicles are protected and handled carefully
- Keeping work areas clean and safe
- Organizing parts, screws, and accessories
- Reporting any malfunctions, wear, or missing equipment
- Participating in maintaining an efficient, structured workshop ready for upcoming projects

Candidate profile
- We mainly look for the right attitude, mechanical reasoning, and good adaptability.
- Very manual and comfortable with tools
- Autonomous and capable of working without constant supervision
- Good problem-solving skills when dealing with non-standard situations
- Detail-oriented and committed to quality work
- Comfortable working on trucks and modified vehicles
- Reliable, punctual, and respectful of the team
- Minimum required experience: 1 year of relevant experience
- Advantages (not mandatory):
- Experience in mechanics, bodywork, carpentry, or manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of 12V electrical systems
- Experience with off-road accessories or recreational vehicles
- Interest in outdoors, camping, or overland adventures
