Mechanic / Technician

Mike Auto Sport, a used vehicle dealership located in Mirabel, Quebec, is seeking a Mechanic / Technician to join its dynamic workshop. The position aims to ensure general mechanical work and routine interventions for our fleet of used vehicles. This role is accessible as an apprentice mechanic, with possible advancement and job satisfaction at the heart of our organization.

Job Description

• Diagnose and repair used vehicles according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and general mechanical repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, exhaust, basic electrical work, diagnostics).
• Conduct road tests and evaluate the quality of interventions.
• Document work performed, complete work orders, and handle administrative follow-up of interventions.
• Collaborate with other technicians and advisors to propose suitable solutions and optimize customer return.
• Comply with safety standards and contribute to the efficiency and cleanliness of the air-conditioned workshop.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in general mechanics (ideally in a dealership or used vehicles).
• Ability to diagnose simple mechanical and electrical systems and use appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and interpret technical bulletins.
• Valid driver's license; fluent in French (English is an asset).
• Team spirit, organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
• Availability for full-time work; flexibility as needed for operational requirements.
