Controller

Barnabé Rive-Sud Group, a recognized player in the automotive sector in Brossard, Quebec, is seeking an experienced Controller to support its growth and ensure strong financial and operational controls within our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize management control processes and analytical accounting across all group dealerships.
• Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, providing relevant information to management.
• Ensure monthly closing of accounts and prepare financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Define and monitor operational and financial KPIs to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Implement and improve internal controls and compliance procedures in collaboration with operational teams.
• Analyze costs, margins, and cash flows, propose corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Collaborate with operational departments (sales, after-sales, parts) to optimize processes and data quality.
• Train and support teams on best practices in control and management.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in finance, accounting, management, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a controller, management controller, or analytical accountant.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with an ERP; knowledge of accounting systems.
• Good understanding of accounting standards and regulations applicable to Quebec (GAAP/IFRS) and taxes.
• Analytical mindset, rigor, strong organization skills, and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in the automotive or distribution sector is an asset.
• Fluent in French; operational knowledge of English is appreciated.
