Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized tools;
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs, including engines, transmissions, and other powertrain components;
- Conduct periodic maintenance as well as inspections related to warranties, recalls, and used vehicles;
- Collaborate with the manufacturer’s technical team and various departments to ensure quality service;
- Document work performed and consult the manufacturer’s technical information;
- Comply with manufacturer standards as well as health and safety guidelines.
Maintenance and Inspection:
- Perform periodic maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, tire installation, etc.);
- Conduct inspections related to manufacturer warranties and recalls;
- Inspect used vehicles.
Technical Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the manufacturer’s technical team during diagnostics or more complex repairs;
- Properly document encountered issues when required;
- Share knowledge and collaborate with other team members;
- Work closely with the parts department and the service advisors to ensure efficient customer service;
- Consult service bulletins and technical information from the manufacturer.
Compliance with Standards and Safety:
- Apply manufacturer standards and repair procedures;
- Follow safety instructions and environmental regulations;
- Accurately document work performed in vehicle records;
- Hold a DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience;
- Possess a Class A, B, or C skill certification;
- Significant experience in electrical and electronic diagnostics;
- Experience in engine repair and diagnostics;
- Good proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools;
- Valid driver's license;
- Experience with Subaru (an asset).

Note
- Salary scale established based on skill certification;
- Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to 12 pm.
