Kia Quebec, a Kia dealership in Quebec, is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our dynamic team focused on customer excellence. Based in Quebec at our dealership located at 855 Rue du Marais, Quebec, QC G1M 3R7, this key position directly contributes to sales performance while ensuring an impeccable customer experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in planning, guiding, and leading the sales team to achieve and surpass monthly and yearly targets.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate sales advisors to optimize individual and team results, while fostering a culture of exemplary customer service.
- Monitor key indicators (sales volume, conversion rate, average transaction value, customer satisfaction, delivery times) and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and execution of commercial action plans, promotions, and marketing campaigns in collaboration with marketing and financing departments.
- Manage the allocation of leads, vehicle inventory distribution, and appointments to maximize sales process efficiency.
- Collaborate with service and parts departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated customer experience from first contact to after-sales service.
- Oversee compliance, safety, and ethics procedures in accordance with Kia Canada policies and local standards.
- Prepare and present performance reports and forecasts to management, along with strategic recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales or sales management, preferably in the automotive sector or a related field.
- Proven leadership and team development experience, with the ability to motivate and generate results.
- Excellent communication skills in French; English is an asset.
- Strong customer focus, service mindset, and ability to work in a results-driven and multitasking environment.
- Analytical skills and decision-making ability based on data; proficiency with CRM tools and reporting systems is desirable.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in sales, commerce, or management; ongoing training in sales techniques and management is a plus.
