Mechanic / Technician

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Mechanic / Technician to join the service team at Boucherville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, located in Boucherville, Quebec. You will work in an environment focused on customer service, quality, and reliability, where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles of the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands.
• Perform preventive maintenance and comprehensive inspections according to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify faults and propose effective solutions.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about the repairs performed and associated costs.
• Adhere to safety procedures, quality standards, and service deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Actively participate in ongoing training and improvement of workshop practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar automotive mechanic position (mandatory).
• Relevant training in automotive mechanics or equivalent recognized experience.
• Good skills in electrical and electronic diagnostics of modern vehicles; familiarity with systems of the group’s brands.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and interpret manufacturer instructions.
• Team spirit, customer-oriented, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in French; technical understanding of English is an asset.
