Mechanic - Mont-Royal Chevrolet

We are looking for a Motor Vehicle Mechanic / Technician ready to join the Mont-Royal Chevrolet team!
As a Mechanic / Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles. You will work in a modern workshop alongside an experienced team, with access to ongoing training on GM technologies. Your expertise will help ensure repairs meet the manufacturer's standards and provide a high-quality customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs according to the manufacturer's standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Read and interpret repair orders, technical diagrams, and workshop manuals.
• Ensure the quality of work performed within the scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the workshop and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the technical team and service department to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training offered by the manufacturer and the dealership.

Profile Sought

• Experience as a car mechanic / technician.
• Good diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Team spirit and professional attitude.
• Methodical, organized, and respectful of procedures.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools (a significant advantage).
• Knowledge of GM brand (an asset).

Salary

• Class 1: $45/hour,
• Class 2: $43/hour,
• Class 3: $39.75/hour.

Work Schedule:

Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
