Mechanic / Technician

BMW Sherbrooke - Groupe AutoMax is seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanic/Technician to join our workshop in Sherbrooke, Quebec. As part of our commitment to service excellence and the BMW experience, you will work in a modern environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires 3 years of experience in auto mechanics.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on new and certified BMW vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance with BMW standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose codes and conduct tests using BMW diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to ensure effective and transparent interventions for the client.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards and maintain an organized workshop.
• Participate in parts management and traceability of interventions.
• Regularly train on the latest BMW technologies (hybrids, electric vehicles, etc.) to ensure up-to-date expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto mechanics.
• DEP in auto mechanics or equivalent; relevant certification preferred.
• Good knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, electronics, and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and workshop tools and equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues; service-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work in a dynamic workshop.
• Proactive, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
