Carrus is looking for a Senior Business Development Rep to join its team in Montreal or Toronto.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced sales professional to support the growth of our customer base in the automotive industry across Canada.
The role primarily focuses on developing new clients and managing the full sales cycle, while representing the company to key market players. Knowledge of the aftermarket and an established network within the industry are considered assets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Development
Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in the automotive industry. Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations (in-person or virtual), preparing proposals, negotiating, and closing deals. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling with existing clients.
Client Support and Internal Collaboration
Participate in onboarding and training new clients (on-site or remote). Maintain close relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, customer service) to optimize the client experience and contribute to the evolution of our solution. Regularly provide client feedback and market insights to support product optimization and solution development.
Visibility and Representation
Represent the company to clients and at industry events, positioning our brand as a key player. Develop opportunities for collaboration and visibility across the Canadian automotive network.
Profile
5+ years of experience in sales or customer development, ideally within the automotive industry or aftermarket. Established network in the automotive sector is an asset. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Autonomy and initiative, able to manage territory and client portfolio independently. Client-focused with strong service orientation. Commercial tenacity, persistent in following up with prospects and managing long sales cycles. Ability to analyze sales data, interpret pipeline, and adjust actions to achieve targets. Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently. Proficient with CRM tools and able to document client interactions accurately. Comfortable working with sales objectives and results-oriented. Bilingual in French and English, with availability for travel across Quebec, Ontario, and the rest of Canada.
