Mechanic / Technician

Your Role

Join the team at Atelier Mécanique Pierre Mondou Inc., located in Sainte-Thérèse, as a Journeyman Mechanic. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, inspecting, and repairing a variety of vehicles. Our clientele expects high standards of quality maintenance. You will work on several models of vehicles ranging from American, Japanese, to European. Our teams have been established for a long time, which will make managing your schedule and parts easier.

Your Responsibilities

• Vehicle maintenance and inspection
• Repair of gasoline vehicles (brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, etc.)
• Electrical schematic analysis, code reading, and anomaly code analysis
• Repair of hybrid and electric vehicles
• Tire repair and installation

Desired Profile We are primarily looking for someone passionate about automotive mechanics. We need someone with an open mind, strong analytical skills, and a desire to advance the garage and the team even further.

Ideally, you have

• More than 5 years of experience in an independent mechanical workshop
• A valid driver's license
• A DEP in automotive mechanics and journeyman skills cards
• An ASP in electric vehicle mechanics (or equivalent)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of Mitchell software and Autel scan tools
• Knowledge of AB Magique (an asset)

Compensation Starting at $72,000 per year

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
• Your Friday afternoons are free
• We are closed between Christmas and New Year
