Painter

CarrXpert Longueuil is looking for an experienced Painter to strengthen its team dedicated to automobile repair and bodywork. The ideal candidate has mastery of automotive painting techniques and shares our commitment to quality and precision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (sanding, masking, degreasing) and ensure the good condition of parts before painting.
• Mix and dose colors, prepare primers, base coats, and varnishes; apply layers using spray guns in accordance with technical sheets and safety standards.
• Perform touch-ups and quality checks after each finishing step.
• Execute masking and removal of unpainted areas; verify uniformity and color in natural and artificial light.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of the workshop and booths; clean and maintain painting equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians and other teams to meet production deadlines.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental standards.

Profile

• Required experience: 3 years in a similar position.
• Excellent knowledge of painting products, tint mixing techniques, and use of spraying equipment; ability to read technical sheets and color codes.
• Attention to detail and precision, constant concern for work quality.
• Punctuality, diligence, and ability to work independently; team spirit and capacity to work under pressure.
• Respect for safety instructions and current standards.
