Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)

L&F Mechanical Center, based in Montreal, Quebec, is looking for a Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join its dynamic workshop.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles using diagnostic tools and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on a wide range of vehicles and components.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, plans, and technical documentation to ensure precise interventions.
• Diagnose complex breakdowns and propose effective solutions in collaboration with the team.
• Participate in testing, functional verification, and re-commissioning of vehicles after work.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.
• Ensure traceability of used parts and document interventions.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Diploma or training in automotive mechanics or a related field; candidates in progress or apprentices will be considered if their background is relevant.
• Good mastery of workshop tools and equipment, as well as maintenance and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and work accurately.
• Team spirit, initiative, autonomy, and good communication skills.
• Strong sense of safety and quality; attention to detail.
