Subaru Metropolitan, a trusted dealership in Montreal and member of the Tremblay Auto Group, is seeking a Accounts Clerk / Technician to join our dynamic financial team in Saint-Léonard. In the automotive sector, accuracy of data, meeting deadlines, and interdepartmental collaboration are essential to provide a smooth and professional customer experience.

Job Description

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure accurate recording of supporting documents, and follow up on payments
  • Enter and verify accounting entries, perform bank reconciliations, and contribute to monthly closings
  • Prepare financial statements and forecast reports, produce simple analyses and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Participate in the internal control process, improve accounting procedures, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with the Sales and Service departments to ensure data accuracy and financial flows
  • Support the department with administrative tasks related to accounting and payroll, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting or equivalent training; at least 1 year of accounting experience required
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office tools (especially Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and discretion; ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Team spirit and good communication skills; bilingual (French/English) is a plus
  • Ability to work in a customer service-oriented environment and meet deadlines
