Mechanic / Technician

Job Description Boisvert Ford, a Ford dealer located in Boucherville, is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join its high-performing workshop focused on customer satisfaction. Employment type: Full-time.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles and compatible models according to the manufacturer’s standards and internal procedures.
• Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics using specialized tools and Ford diagnostic systems; read schematics and technical manuals.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and carefully document interventions in the client files.
• Collaborate with service advisors to plan work, estimate timelines, and ensure the quality of repairs within the allotted deadlines.
• Adhere to safety standards, warranty procedures, and quality control requirements.
• Propose service recommendations and contribute to achieving the workshop’s objectives and customer loyalty.

Qualifications required

• Ford training required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Relevant diploma in automotive technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Ford systems and ability to use appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license; ability to stand and handle parts and equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills; team spirit and autonomy.
• Ability to pursue continuing education and adapt to emerging Ford technologies.
• Bilingual French/English is an asset.
