Mechanic / Technician

Mazda Pointe-aux-Trembles, a dealership of the GENX Automobile group, is looking for a Mechanic / Technician - Journeyman to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles according to OEM standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine mechanical and electrical repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electronics, diagnostics with specialized tools).
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Ensure quality and meet deadlines while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and the after-sales team.
• Accurately document interventions, complete work orders, and track used parts.
• Adhere to safety rules, hygiene standards, and internal policies.

Profile / Qualifications

• DEP in automotive mechanics or equivalent training in progress, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role considered an asset (apprentice accepted).
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and diagnostics, ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Good understanding of technical diagrams and repair procedures.
• Team spirit, customer service orientation, and willingness to learn.
• Fluent in French; technical English is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability for flexible hours and summer schedule.
