Mechanic / Technician - Light Truck

Garage EMP has expanded, and we are looking for a passionate and skilled Light-Duty Truck Mechanic/Technician to join our dynamic team in Saint-Jérôme. If you have proven expertise in diesel mechanics and want to grow in a stimulating professional environment, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on light-duty diesel vehicles.
• Carry out in-depth technical diagnostics and necessary repairs to mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Work with the team to identify malfunctions and propose effective, lasting solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date on the latest technologies and methods.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent training.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanics; a strong knowledge of diesel engine systems is an asset.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Customer-focused approach and attention to detail.
