RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure accurate and efficient bookkeeping, including the management of accounts payable and receivable;
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as management reports, to accurately reflect the company's financial position;
Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to optimize cash flows;
Manage the company’s tax obligations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns (including GST-QST, tire duty taxes, insurance taxes, etc.);
Carry out quarterly luxury tax submissions;
Supervise accounting technicians and clerks;
Perform analysis of accounting schedules;
Manage payroll and ensure the compliance of accounting entries;
Monitor prepaid expenses and depreciation of fixed assets;
Collaborate with different departments for accurate and proactive budget management;
Initiate and participate in the continuous improvement of the company’s accounting and financial processes;
Monitor payments and collections to ensure effective liquidity management;
Play a key role in monthly and annual closing procedures, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.
Degree in accounting or in a related field, confirming expertise in accounting;
Strong professional experience in automotive accounting;
Advanced computer skills and mastery of automotive accounting software such as Serti;
Ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong sense of initiative;
Precision, rigor, and a particular attention to detail to ensure the integrity of financial data;
Excellent organizational and time management skills, essential for meeting accounting deadlines.
